Rejuvenate Muscle Health vs Perfect Amino
Facts checked on October 30, 2026. Prices and formulas change; check each brand's own site before you buy.
Rejuvenate Muscle Health and Perfect Amino are both essential amino acid supplements, and both are taken between meals by people who would rather skip the protein shake. They differ in format, in what goes into each serving, and in how many servings the brand suggests a day. We make Rejuvenate, so read this as a maker's comparison: every Perfect Amino fact below comes from BodyHealth's own pages, linked in the sources at the end, and the section on who should choose Perfect Amino is meant seriously.
The short answer
Choose Rejuvenate Muscle Health if you want one flavored 5-calorie stick instead of five tablets or a scoop, two a day, with 1,000 IU of vitamin D3 in the same drink and a 90-day money-back guarantee on the 12-Week Supply.
Choose Perfect Amino if you want tryptophan in your blend, a tablet with no sweetener at all, a powder sweetened without sucralose, more flavors, or a version that is NSF Certified for Sport.

Format: one stick or five tablets
This is the biggest practical difference. A serving of Perfect Amino is five tablets or one scoop of powder, and BodyHealth's user guide says most people take two to four servings a day, so a full day can mean ten to twenty tablets. A serving of Rejuvenate is one stick poured into a glass of water, and the routine is two sticks a day, hours apart. That spacing is deliberate: muscle responds to a serving of amino acids for about three hours and then stops, so a second serving later in the day gets a second response (why two a day).
If you already swallow supplements easily, tablets are quick and need no glass. If tablets are the reason you stop taking a supplement, a flavored drink is easier to keep up. In forum threads, people often mention the number of tablets and the taste of the powder.
One trade-off to know if your appetite is low: tablets add no volume, while a stick is mixed into 10 to 12 oz of water.
What is in each serving
Rejuvenate Muscle Health is a 3.87 g blend of free-form amino acids: leucine, lysine, isoleucine, threonine, phenylalanine, valine, methionine and histidine, which are eight of the essential amino acids, plus arginine. Tryptophan is not in the blend. Each stick also carries 1,000 IU of vitamin D3, so two sticks a day add 2,000 IU. If you already take vitamin D, check your total with your doctor.
Perfect Amino lists a 5 g blend of the nine essential amino acids, including tryptophan, plus what BodyHealth calls nucleic acid building blocks. Its 2024 label listed eight essential amino acids, so the current formula appears to have added histidine. Neither brand discloses the amount of each amino acid.
If having every essential amino acid in the blend matters to you, Perfect Amino has tryptophan and Rejuvenate does not.
Sweeteners, flavors and calories
Perfect Amino tablets have no sweetener. The powder is sweetened with stevia, monk fruit and katemfe, and BodyHealth says it is free from sucralose. Rejuvenate is sweetened with sucralose and stevia. If you avoid sucralose, Perfect Amino's tablets or powder suit you better.
Rejuvenate is 5 calories a stick. Perfect Amino's label says less than one calorie per serving; other BodyHealth pages give 2 and 4 calories. Either way, both are low enough that calories are unlikely to decide it for you.
What each brand claims
BodyHealth says Perfect Amino delivers amino acids "in an optimal ratio for up to 99% utilization" and describes one serving as "the protein equivalent of 30 grams of whey." Those are BodyHealth's claims; see its product page and user guide for the basis it gives.
Our claim is narrower. Rejuvenate activates muscle comparable to 20g of protein per serving†‡. It is based on a published study (Bukhari et al., 2015) in which a small dose of leucine-enriched essential amino acids stimulated muscle protein synthesis in older women to a level not statistically different from 20 g of whey. Rejuvenate contains no protein, and we do not describe it as a protein replacement.
The two numbers come from different kinds of evidence, so they are not directly comparable. BodyHealth bases its figure on its own utilization reasoning, set out in its user guide. Ours comes from a published trial that measured the muscle protein synthesis response itself. Read both and judge for yourself.
Price per serving and per day
Per serving, the two are close. Perfect Amino runs $1.28 to $1.53 bought once and from $1.09 on subscription on bodyhealth.com. Rejuvenate is $2.14 for a single box, $1.61 on the 4-Week Supply and $1.07 on the first 12-Week Supply order.
Per day depends on how many servings you take. At Rejuvenate's two sticks a day, the first 12-Week Supply order works out to about $2.14 a day and the 4-Week Supply to about $3.21 a day. At BodyHealth's suggested two to four servings, Perfect Amino works out to roughly $2.18 to $6.12 a day depending on size and subscription. Prices change, so check both sites before you decide.
The 12-Week Supply is $179.95 paid upfront for 12 boxes (168 servings) in one delivery. It is a subscription that renews every 12 weeks, and you can pause or cancel anytime.
